CHANGING HABITS! Is It Easy As Most People Make It Sound?
If your answer is yes, then why do we still hear these statements:

I can’t LOSE WEIGHT no matter how hard I try… I am naturally fat!
Cancer is hereditary in my family; changing habits wouldn’t make any difference.
I am Diabetic. My mum and little sister do too. It runs in the family.
My dad passed away due to heart failure, so did his elder brother. I think it’s in our gene…
My mum’s sister and niece all had severe fibromyalgia at age 45. I am 39; I think I am next in line…

The list is ENDLESS.

4 Hindrances To Changing Habits That Is Costing Us Billions Of Dollars!
1. Belief System

Year after year, millions of people across the globe live their lives under the illusion That they can’t LOSE WEIGHT no matter how hard they try, and believe changing habits wouldn’t make any difference.

As a result, they accept life as it is without making any realistic lifestyle changes especially their habits.

Interestingly though, the fitness and weight loss industry continues to thrive. We spend over $270,000,000,000 annually across the globe on diets, fitness programs and more. In the U.S. alone, over 120 million people purchase at least one weight loss product every year and sometimes more than one!

But still, poor diets, ineffective exercise, stressful work schedules and the pressures of daily life continue to push the obesity rate higher and higher… and all these continue to expose more of us to cancer, diabetes, heart disease, digestive disorders, joint pain, premature aging and even mental illnesses like Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Your guess might be as good as mine.

There is so much focus on PHYSICAL HEALTH and less focus on MENTAL HEALTH. In order to achieve any weight loss goal, these 2 must be combined together in order for one to achieve results. Aside following a certain diet or exercise  routine which all lead to physical results; Believe, commitment, consistency, patience, perseverance, repetition, overcoming fear and self doubt, changing old habits and forming new ones etc. are all mental challenges we face on a day to day basis.
2. The Education System

So why are we all still getting fatter, sicker and older before our time?

Because it’s good for business, that’s why!

The next batch of graduates are trained to merely go patch someone up A.K.A “surgery” or administer the newest treatment or medication to patients, without proper education on changing habits and healthy lifestyle choices.

There is so much misinformation out there when it comes to weight loss. Things that we’ve all been conditioned to think are necessary to achieve results not only don’t work but actually harm our bodies, and that is as a result of the gap in our educational system in the areas of nutrition, health, and wellness.

3. Problem-Based Technology

Technology has benefitted humanity in a lot of ways. However, the challenge with problem based technology is, with each newest finding, more and more emphasis is on fixing problems and less focus on the root problem. And the end goal leads to repeated customers who undergo the same procedures over and over again due to lack of education on the actual root cause of their problem.

For example weight loss. What would happen if the focus is on the root problem behind obesity and changing habits, rather than the fastest way to lose weight through surgery? Surely, we wouldn’t have the Obesity Epidemic now.

The priority right now is on how to cut someone open and patch them up, a rather costly and invasive procedure.

We need more education on healthier lifestyles choices.

4. The Media

The is the biggest hindrance and the most significant contributor to changing habits. That is to say, the media focus on the two essential sense organs; the EYES and EARS, and our response to these sense organs is overwhelming.

And If you’re like most of us, you’re probably searching for an effective way of losing a few pounds and keeping them off which is pretty common especially in industrialized nations like the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia and most of Europe.

I bet you've seen and heard at some point, go for a run, go to the gym always, eat less carbs etc! but the sad truth is when you over indulge in these exercises, the side effects could cause more harm than good like continuous hard running is bad for the joints and can even build up scar tissue causing DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) which could lead to heart attacks!

How about "No Carbs" or eating less to lose weight weight. Less calories in means less calories stored, right? The problem is that our bodies are designed to preserve themselves. When you starve a body, your body goes into famine mode and converts more and more of the food you are eating into fat deposits. In addition, it begins to break down dense muscle tissue for energy in the meantime. Not eating is one of the worst things you can do to yourself.

Finally, Your body needs carbohydrates for energy.  A combination of the right carbs like brown rice, chickpeas, lentils, black and kidney beans ( also high in protein) can actually help you lose weight. It's all about working in harmony with your body to achieve the desired result. There is a simple, easy, safe and highly effective way to lose weight and feel great.
